Blood Sweat and Pig's Ears
The four-word phrase blood, sweat, and tears conveys an opinion that someone is giving a specific objective their all. “You can’t turn a pig’s ear into a silk purse.” This remark expresses the view that some things are simply beyond possible. In 2011, I named this blog by merging these two, well-known expressions. I put everything I have into my rehabs because I love what I do and have an ability to see the houses for what they can be even before I start. Through these projects, I’ve learned some valuable lessons and developed my own step-by-step process. I have saved condemned properties, mystified witnesses, and once a neighbor compared me to Harry Houdini. However, I’m no magician nor a house flipper. I am just a man who has always loved to build, who was once a kid with a dream to buy and fix up a home of his own.
